Thanks to her strong pilates background, Lynnae (Lin-A-Uh) is alignment forward and is known for teaching classes that are intuitively designed to build physical and mental strength. She’ll help you establish internal focus and body awareness, and loves holding space for people to slow down, check in, and breathe. “After all, Yoga IS all about finding balance,” she says (with a smile!).

How did you find your way to yoga?

As a runner, worker outer, healthcare provider, and nonstop mover, the physical movement/stay healthy component of yoga clicked right away.  The beauty in the quiet parts of yoga took longer to “get.” Finding a quiet head space is such a gift and helping students discover that brings me much purpose and joy.  

What should we know about your background?

I completed my 235 -hour yoga teacher training at Devanadi School of Yoga and Wellness in Minneapolis, MN, and a 300-hour yoga teacher training with My Vinyasa Practice in  Austin, TX. I have added certificates in Yoga for Athletes, Mat Pilates, Barre, and Chair Yoga.

What else should we know about you?

I try to live with a “beginner’s mind” mindset: There’s always something to learn. I love astrology, reading fiction and non, getting my hands dirty in the kitchen, hunting for the best ingredients for my sour dough bread, making friendship bracelets, drinking coffee, taking in a gorgeous vista, and doing anything with my family (my husband , Brian, two wonderful daughters, and two high-energy dogs named Rocco and Dan).
