Slow down and find a moment to pause when you practice with Cat. Her classes will help you turn your focus inward, like a deep exhale at the end of a long day. And, as a trained Thai massage therapist, you’ll get some extra-supportive hands-on assists in her class (with your consent, of course!). When you practice with Cat, you’ll feel her deep understanding of different bodies and knowledge of how to guide her students deeper.
How did you find your way to yoga?
I was first introduced to yoga at 18. At 28, I decided to travel to India and pursue a 200 hr RYT course. From there, I continued following the lead of my heart and pursued more training that related to the body and holistic wellness.
What should we know about your background?
I have been teaching for about ten years – something I’ve done both abroad and locally. When I returned from traveling, I started teaching workshops and one-on-one sessions, as well.
What do you do in your free time?
I absolutely love to travel and can’t even begin to pick just one favorite place. Beyond travel, I love to go out and explore nature. Any opportunity that I get to slow down with the natural rhythm of the natural world is when I feel the most present, connected, and alive.
