Kevin’s classes are known for their upbeat energy and playful sequencing. His teaching style stems from vinyasa yoga, and he puts his knowledge of strength & conditioning movements to work in his classes where a beat-driven playlist and encouraging atmosphere lift students up.

How did you find your way to yoga?

I originally tried yoga as a way to recover from a hockey injury with low-impact exercise. After a few years of consistent practice, I quit hockey, and I started teaching yoga sculpt instead. I haven’t looked back since.  

What should we know about your background?

I received my Yoga Sculpt certification from CorePower Yoga and have taught since 2012. I’ve had the opportunity to coach a few teacher trainings and instruct among different communities, which has been such a cool experience. 

Aside from yoga, what interests do you have?

Travel is really important to me, and I once spent the better part of a year backpacking through SE Asia, the South Pacific, and South America. One of my favorite destinations on that tour was Argentinian Patagonia (a little town called El Chalten). Beyond travel, I enjoy getting bossed around by my dog, Sully, and living with an insatiable sweet tooth for sour candies, ice cream, and chocolate.
