Rebecca’s deep knowledge of yoga and understanding of asana are aspects you’ll absorb every time you take her class. Her authentic, warm energy will carry you through your practice, and you'll leave feeling supported after every session. In her class, expect creative sequencing and context around posture names and mythology. 

How did you find your way to yoga?

I originally started practicing yoga thanks to a back injury. My doctor recommended yoga as therapy and here I am more than 30 years later still committed to my practice. 

What should we know about your background?

I started to become increasingly curious about the deeper aspects of yoga—like quieting the mind and finding peace—which led me on 16 different trips to India. During this time, I decided to do yoga teacher training so that I could continue to learn and grow. That was in 2002. Since then, my interest in yoga has become a wonderful part-time job and a catalyst for my personal growth.

Aside from yoga, what interests do you have?

I love being outdoors; walking, biking, observing. I’ve also come to love being a new cat parent, having adopted my mom’s cat whose name is Callie. I love how mellow she is.
