Danielle’s classes are rooted in powerful depth and wisdom that show her reverence for Yoga. When you practice with her, you’ll sense the years of experience she brings to guiding people, her passion for teaching, and an ability to speak from the heart. She also gives phenomenal hands-on assists, so grab an adjustment waiver if you’re comfortable with hands-on touch.
How did you find your way to yoga?
I started doing yoga at 12 years old on VHS with my mom. I started teaching Yoga at the local YMCA at 18 years old, then became a Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor, and Massage Therapist. Life hit me hard with my wedding being called off at 24 years old and I dove back into yoga.
What should we know about your background?
I have done 1,000s of hours of Yoga training and found my purpose in life: Teaching yoga and teaching others how to teach. Yoga has always been there for me in all seasons of my life, so I am blessed and grateful to get to teach and share this amazing practice.
What else should we know about you?
I am a mom of two amazing kids, Evelyn and Charlie. I have a life partner who is my rock and biggest teacher in my life. Beyond teaching yoga, I love to spend time outside in nature, back home swimming in Lake Superior, and seeing life lived through my kids’ eyes.
